About Camus Productions

As a society we are keen to be as inclusive as possible, and with this in mind we have reviewed our membership options to ensure that there is something to suit everyone.

From January 2026, our membership fee will be a flat fee of £50. For this fee, members will enjoy the full benefits of being a member of the society for the full calendar year, until 31st December 2026. These benefits include:

• Regular member newsletters with key information and updates from the society.
• Invitations to exclusive social events for CAMUS
• Members-only deals on upcoming events and shows, including reduced price tickets
• No audition fees for any show auditions
• Invitation to join our additional CAMUS events, including CAMUS singers
• The ability to vote in our Annual General Meeting, held in April each calendar year.

Being a member of our society means being a part of the CAMUS family, and we hope that this reduced price membership option will mean that we are able to open our doors to more new and past members.

If you would like to become a member, but would like support with paying the membership fee (such as a payment plan), please contact a member of the committee to discuss this further.  

For those members who wish to be involved in a production, be it our annual society musical or a smaller scale production, there will be an additional ‘Show Fee’ payment. The cost of this will be dependent upon the costs of the show, and will be announced prior to auditions for the show. We will endeavour to be as transparent about the cost of a show fee, and include as much in this fee as possible (e.g. the cost of script hire).  

If a non-member wishes to participate in a CAMUS production, their show fee will be increased by £50 to include the cost of membership to the society
